Welcome Home!
Umpqua Ranch is a resident-owned manufactured home community in Idleyld Park, Ore. We are a terrific neighborhood for people who like a rural setting that’s an easy 20-minute drive to Roseburg and moments from the North Umpqua River and Fern Falls in Richard G. Baker Park. The Umpqua National Forest is less than an hour away and provides quick access to hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Umpqua Ranch Cooperative offers a host of community activities like spring clean-ups and yard sales, and community potlucks!
Umpqua Ranch is just two-hours from the coast, 90 minutes from Eugene and about three hours from Portland. Our community loves fly fishing, hiking, biking and rock climbing in beautiful outdoor areas with spectacular views. With easy access to the Pacific Ocean, countless outdoor activities and close proximity to urban areas, Umpqua Ranch is a great place to live.
Umpqua Ranch is owned by the Community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

We own it
The Member homeowners of Umpqua Ranch control the rent and make the rules. On October 1, 2015, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Umpqua Ranch Cooperative. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.
We’re also part of a national network of more than 250 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Umpqua Ranch is truly different than in a commercially owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
